Our admissions process is set-up specifically to determine if your child and family are the right fit for Meadowridge. From inquiry to assessment, we strive to get to know each family and the potential of each child.

All complete applications received by the date above will be considered in the first round of decisions. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as long as seats are available.

Step 2

Visit Us & Learn more about Meadowridge

All applications to Meadowridge School begin with filling out an Inquiry Form and attending an Open House. We are excited to meet you and your family, show you our school, and answer any questions you may have.

After submitting your online inquiry, the first step in the application process is to plan a campus visit. Tours of our School are offered on the first Friday of each month.

All families are highly encouraged to visit Meadowridge before beginning the official application process.

Submit an Online Application Form

Applicants must complete the online application form and pay the $400 non-refundable application fee. After an application form for each child is submitted with payment, there are grade-specific items required in order to complete each child's application in full.

Complete Additional Application Requirements

After an online application and payment is completed for each child applying, additional materials and items are required to submit a complete application.

Applications are not complete unless all materials are submitted. Only complete applications will be considered for decisions.

Early Learners (JK & K)

Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes fill up fast.

If you are interested in these grades please apply as soon as possible to avoid dissapointment.

Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten Application Requirements

RECOMMENDATION
A recommendation from your child's current teacher, daycare provider, extra-curricular instructor, or another adult (not a relative) is required. Please use the recommendation form provided in the Apply Portal.


STUDENT OBSERVATION DAY
All Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants are observed during a 60 minute visit where our Director of PYP and faculty observe children playing and socializing during various activities.

There is no preparation necessary. This is meant to determine the child's social and cognitive ability. Our Early Learning Observation Date will be announced shortly.


FAMILY INTERVIEW
At Meadowridge, we believe that admission is to both the child and the family, and that parental involvement is integral to student success. As such, we want to get to know you better through an interview.

Grade 1 to Grade 5

Grade 1 to Grade 5 Application Requirements

TEACHER RECOMMENDATION
If your child is currently attending a school, a recommendation from your child's current teacher is required. We recognize that in some cases for our young applications a teacher recommendation may not be possible. In this case, we ask that a reference letter from another adult (daycare provider, extra-curricular instructor) that is not a relative be submitted.

REPORT CARDS
Report Cards for the current school year and, if applicable, completed Report Cards from the previous two years. Please upload a PDF version to the Apply Portal.


STUDENT ASSESSMENT DAY
Grade 1 through Grade 5 applicants are assessed by a combination of developmental testing and an in-house assessment component to determine student's readiness for these grades.

The testing occurs in a relaxed environment and lasts no more than 90 minutes. We host an assessment day of Grade 1 through Grade 11 applicants in January (2017 date TBD).

Grade 6 to Grade 10

Please Note

The SSAT is required for all Grade 6 through 10 applications.

There are no exceptions. Applicants are required to register and take the test at their own expense.

Grade 6 to Grade 10 Application Requirements

TWO TEACHER RECOMMENDATION

Teacher recommendations are required for all Grade 6 through Grade 10 applicants. Two teacher recommendation forms must be submitted. A recommendation may be completed by your child's Teacher, Guidance Counselor, or Principal.

REPORT CARDS

Report cards are required for all Grade 6 through Grade 10 applicants. Report Cards for the current school year and completed Report Cards from the previous two years are required.

SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST (SSAT)
Grade 6 through Grade 10 applicants must complete and submit their Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) results. Applicants must register for the tests individually at their own expense.

Grade 11

Please Note

The Meadowridge Diploma Programme is academically rigourous.

As such limited Grade 11 applicants are accepted. Students that are coming from a similar International Baccalaureate program are more successful at being accepted. We look at the previous IB experience, determination, and character of the applicant.
