Choosing Meadowridge

2024/2025 Academic Year Tuition

Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12: $29,900
International Students: $39,900 (this amount is the tuition plus the $10,000 International Fee)

This amount does not reflect other fees such as the Application Fee ($400), Enrollment Fee, Items Borrowed Deposit, Programme Fee, sibling discount, bussing, textbooks, uniforms, special trips, or tournaments. Invoices are mailed April 30 or upon registration if after this date.

The 2025/26 tuition will be announced in December 2025 by the Board of Governors.

One-Time Admission Expenses

Application & Assessment Fee: $400 per student (non-refundable)
This fee is paid at the time of the online application submission.

Enrollment Fee per student (non-refundable)
First Child: $12,000
Second Child: $8,000
Third and Subsequent Child(ren): $4,000

Items Borrowed Deposit: $750 per student (refundable)
To be held and used for incidentals and outstanding fees in the year the student leaves.

Recurring Yearly Expenses

2024/2025 Academic School Year

Tuition: $29,900 per student ($29,900 + $10,000 for international)
The following year's tuition is announced in December

Yearly Incidental Program Fees Estimated (2024/25 school year):

PYP (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5): $630
MYP (Grade 6 to Grade 10): $2,240
DP (Grade 11 to Grade 12): $1,710

The Yearly Incidental Program Fees cover field trips, yearbooks, textbook rentals, mandatory supplies, workbooks, graduation fees, and any other incidentals that are required for each program.

IB Diploma Student Registration Fee: $1,300
This is a fee required from the International Baccalaureate Organization and is applied in the Grade 11 year. IB fees are determined by the International Baccalaureate Organization and are subject to change.

Please note: This is not a complete list of all the expenses required throughout the school year and does not include uniforms, cafeteria, bussing, after-school care, and optional international trips.

Re-Enrollment Deposit

25% of tuition per student (non-refundable deposit)

At the time of Re-Enrollment in January 2024 a deposit of 25% of the 2024/25 tuition per student is required to hold the spot. This deposit goes towards your tuition costs. If your family confirms Re-Enrollment and then does not return, this fee is non-refundable.

Please note: There is no credit card fee on re-enrollment deposits paid via credit card.

The deposit amount for 2024/25 will be communicated after the Board of Governors announces the tuition rate for the same year (typically the December prior). The 25% is based on this amount, not taking into account any sibling or early payment discounts.

Payment, Discounts & Options

Sibling Discount
We understand the impact that the cost of an independent school education can have on families with multiple children. In an effort to assist families considering Meadowridge, we have established a tuition discount for families enrolling two or more children. The following applies:

Definition of Sibling: The student must be one of two or more children (biologically or legally adopted) having one or both parents in common. This discount is not available to family members outside the sibling relationship such as step-brothers/ sisters, cousins, and so on, whose permanent residence is at the same address as the student currently enrolled at the School.

Second Sibling: 5% of Tuition discount
Third and subsequent Sibling(s): 10% of Tuition discount

The discount is applied to the second and subsequent sibling(s) in the order of birth. Students in receipt of the sibling discount are not eligible for any other discount/financial support.

Tuition & Fees Payment Options
Tuition can be financed over the course of 8 months beginning June 1 or paid in full in one payment by the deadline.

International Students
International Students must pay tuition and international fee in full at the time of registration.

Financial Assistance & Scholarships

At this time Meadowridge School does not offer Financial Assistance to applying families. We hope in the future to grow our Financial Assistance program to include applying families in order to build a diverse student body.

Meadowridge is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to deserving students in Grade 9 who otherwise would not be able to afford our school.

The scholarship is open to BC residents only.

Meadowridge School incurs expenses on a continuous basis, and tuition fees on their own provide only a portion of the funds required to cover the annual operating expenses of the school. Thus, it is essential that the school's annual income is assured through fees. When a student is enrolled, a place is reserved for the entire school year. We ask that parents read all tuition and fee materials very carefully.
