Applying to Meadowridge

Inquiring, Visiting & Applying to Meadowridge

Our admissions process is set-up specifically to determine if your child and family are the right fit for Meadowridge. From inquiry to assessment, we strive to get to know each family and the potential of each child.

Admissions Process

Step 1: Plan a Visit

We invite you to join us at one of our Open Houses.

Alternatively, a private tour of our school is another way to determine whether Meadowridge is the right fit for your child. To schedule a private tour, please call or email our Admissions Office at 604.467.4444 or admissions@meadowridge.bc.ca.

Step 2: Submit an Application

Applicants must complete the online application form and pay the $400 non-refundable application fee by the deadline date. After an application form for each child is submitted with payment, there are grade-specific items (see below) required in order to complete each child’s application in full. Be sure to upload all required documents.

Step 3: Schedule an Assessment

Applicants are required to participate in an entrance assessment to determine their suitability for our school’s program. Based on the grade level the applicant is applying to, assessments range from one to two hours in length.

Only applicants with completed applications, including all supporting documents will be invited to grade level assessments.

Step 4: Student Classroom Visit

Selected applicants in grades 1 through 11 are required to attend a day at Meadowridge through the months of January and February. Applicants will have the opportunity to participate in class activities and get a feel for our school.

Step 5: Admissions Decision

Applicants will be contacted regarding the admissions decision shortly after their assessment and/or classroom visit.

  • Once an applicant has been accepted, an offer letter will be issued via email.
  • If the desired grade level is full, the accepted student will be placed on our waiting list.

In order for an accepted student’s seat to be held, the MEID deposit and New Student Fee are required to be paid in full.
