Is there a bus program? How do I sign up?

Bus services are offered to help our students get to and from school each day.

Our students are a busy bunch, and so we offer morning pick-up, afternoon drop-off, and optional late buses throughout the week. All of our regular buses arrive to Meadowridge at 8:15am and leave at 3:40pm.

Bus sign-up happens once a student is enrolled. An email is sent out to all new families by June with sign-up options.

What are the class sizes?

The numbers of students in each class differs per grade level.

In certain grades class sizes that are very small are detrimental to learning, whereas larger class sizes in certain grades helps to form a community and develop a positive learning environment.

Regardless of the number of students in each class we ensure there are more than enough teachers, staff, and resources for all the children.

In general our classes from Junior Kindergarten* to Grade 5 classes tend to be between 18 to 20 children. In Grade 6 to 10 the class sizes tend to be between 20 to 22 children. This number can vary outside these ranges from time-time.

*Junior Kindergarten requires special regulations from Fraser Health Authority because of the children's age. There can be no more than eight children for one Early Childhood Educator in the class.
