To be held and used for incidentals and outstanding fees in the year the student leaves.

Yearly Incidental Program Fees Estimated:

PYP (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5): $900
MYP (Grade 6 to Grade 10): $2,595
DP (Grade 11 to Grade 12): $2,105

The Yearly Incidental Program Fees cover field trips, yearbooks, textbook rentals, mandatory supplies, workbooks, graduation fees, and any other incidentals that are required for each program.

IB Diploma Student Registration Fee (Grade 11): $1,300
This is a fee required from the International Baccalaureate Organization and is applied in the Grade 11 year. IB fees are determined by the International Baccalaureate Organization and are subject to change.

Please note: This is not a complete list of all the expenses required throughout the school year and does not include uniforms, cafeteria, bussing, after-school care, and optional international trips.

All fees listed are subject to change from year to year.

Uniforms:
For new students, the cost of uniforms varies depending on grade level and the number of optional items purchased. On average, it costs approximately $800 per student.

School Bus:
Bus service is available to students in Grades 1 and above.
For the 2024/2025 school year: $3,315 to $3,815 per rider (depending on the route).
Single Ride Passes: $15

Dining Services:
Junior Kindergarten: Lunch costs are covered by the tuition.

Kindergarten to Grade 5: Students have the option to join the Annual Lunch Program. The cost is $1,285 for the 2024/2025 school year.

Grade 6 to Grade 12: Students have the option to add funds to their accounts and use personal Student Cafeteria Card to purchase food in the school cafeteria.

After-School Care:
Meadowridge offers an After-School Care program to students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm everyday that school is in session. The cost is $24 per day per child.

All fees listed are subject to change from year to year.

Meadowridge awards up to ten Entrance Scholarships annually, each valued at $5,000. Recipients must be new to the school and demonstrate the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.

How to Apply:
Entrance Scholarship applications are submitted as part of the regular admissions process. In addition to the Entrance Scholarship Application Form, applicants are required to apply for admissions and pay the $400 application fee.

Requirements:
Entrance Scholarship applicants are required to submit an online application. Parents will be able to assist the Early Learning (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 1) students.

Scholarship Recipient

Meadowridge offers a limited number of bursaries for High School students. The Head of School Bursary is financial- and merit-based, offered to students who otherwise could not afford to attend Meadowridge School.

How to Apply:
Head of School Bursary applications are submitted through the normal admissions process. Families should contact the Admissions Team at admissions@meadowridge.bc.ca to advise of their intent to apply for the Bursary.

Requirements:
Families applying for the Head of School Bursary are required to apply for admissions and attend the assessment day. Shortlisted applicants will then be required to submit a written or video essay about who they are and what they wish to gain by attending Meadowridge.

Additional references and an interview with our Head of School are also required. Parents will need to apply for aid through our Financial Assistance portal, F.A.S.T. Please have your previous tax assessment on hand.

Who can Apply?
New students applying to Grade 9 who are BC residents.

Amount Covered: 
Scholarships and Bursaries cover yearly tuition only. The Application fee, program fees, uniforms, cafeteria, and transportation costs are not covered.

We understand the impact that the cost of an independent school education can have on families with multiple children. In an effort to assist families considering Meadowridge, we have established a tuition discount for families enrolling two or more children. The following applies:

Definition of Sibling: The student must be one of two or more children (biologically or legally adopted) having one or both parents in common. This discount is not available to family members outside the sibling relationship such as step-brothers/ sisters, cousins, and so on, whose permanent residence is at the same address as the student currently enrolled at the School.

• Second Sibling: 5% of Tuition discount
• Third and Subsequent Sibling(s): 10% of Tuition discount

The discount is applied to the second and subsequent sibling(s) in the order of birth. Students in receipt of the sibling discount are not eligible for any other discount/financial support.

Meadowridge offers financial assistance for families who may be experiencing financial hardships during their time at Meadowridge.

How to Apply:
A link will be available in our e-Gryphon in December when the application window opens. We recommend families apply for assistance before to re-enrolling for the upcoming school year.

Requirements:
Families applying for Financial Assistance are required to submit the application through the F.A.S.T portal. Tax Return Assessments are needed.
