Criteria and Guidelines

Award Description
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the Meadowridge School Alumni Association’s most prestigious award. The Award honours graduates who have distinguished themselves in their professional and personal lives and who embody the Mission, Vision, and Values of Meadowridge School.

Three Distinguished Alumni Awards are awarded biennially.

Nomination Criteria
Nominations are solicited from the entire Meadowridge School community and from the greater community overall. Each nomination must include a completed nomination form with relevant professional and personal successes as well as descriptions of service, both with Meadowridge School and in the greater community overall, and embodiment of the IB Learner Profile.

Alumni may nominate themselves for the Award.

Selection Process

1. All nominations will be considered, and nomination submissions will be authored and edited as necessary by Meadowridge School Alumni Relations.
    
2. The Alumni Relations team will advance qualified Award nominees to the Meadowridge School Awards and Recognition Committee for selection.
    
3. Of the nominees put forth by the Awards and Recognition Committee, the Head of School and Alumni Relations will select alumni who have made the greatest contributions and commitment to the Award standards.

The Alumni Relations team reserves the right to name individuals for this honour. In exceptional circumstances, awards may be issued posthumously.
