Our PYP Teachers were so excited to share a special Zoom performance of Beauty and the Beast with students after having to cancel our yearly theatre field trip. PYP students were challenged to download the script and recreate the performance themselves at home. One family went above and beyond after being inspired by the teachers’ performances and collaborated on creating their own play. Maggie in Kindergarten plays the role of Belle, big brother Alistair in Grade 3 plays the role of Papa, and their pet kitty, Song, steals the show as Beast. Alistair even composed and performed the background music.
