Meadowridge Voices Blog

Last week, a team of eight high school students travelled to the University of Saskatchewan to work with researchers on Canada’s only Synchrotron.

This rare opportunity was a part of the Students on the Beamlines program and allowed our team of eight to drive their own research in an authentic and immersive science research experience. Our students demonstrated a strong work ethic and embodied the spirit of scientific investigation as they tested their samples, analyzed data and drew conclusions. Watch their impressive final presentation here!

Congratulations to our student scientists: Sam D. (Grade 10) Jack D. (Grade 11), Isha D. (Grade 10), Noah W. (Grade 11), Kayla M. (Grade 11), Pawel P. (Grade 11), Ray L. (Grade 10) and Meverest L. (Grade 10) and teacher supervisor Ms. Cindy Hops.
