What are your responsibilities as a Grade Rep?
Grade Reps are parent volunteers whose main purpose is to provide their fellow, grade-level families with information and opportunities. More than that, Grade Reps are the champion of their grade, promoting involvement and support of our school. To accomplish this, Grade Reps are responsible for establishing and maintaining communication throughout the school year with other parents in their child’s grade, including weekly emails but also over the phone, by email, WhatsApp, or in person. Grade Reps provide a personal link between parents, teachers, staff, administrators and the Guild, and help connect families with the appropriate school contact for any questions that may come up throughout the year. Grade Reps are encouraged to attend the monthly Parent Guild meetings.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Marisa Plasterer, Guild Chair at guild.chair@meadowridge.bc.ca or Mrs. Danielle Christensen, Director of Advancement at danielle.christensen@meadowridge.bc.ca
