Halloween & School Spirit in Elementary Community Block

At Meadowridge, Halloween is more than just a holiday; it’s a chance to foster creativity, connection, and school pride.

This year, our elementary students kicked off the celebrations with a spooky, spirited Halloween door-decorating activity. This activity was part of their weekly Elementary Community Block, during which they participate in house activities, assemblies, and service in action.

Students teamed up in their House colours to design and decorate their classroom doors, using an array of Halloween-themed crafts.

From tracing their hands to colouring Whonnock Pumpkins and Fraser Frankensteins, each student made their mark as each door came alive across campus with vibrant designs unique to each House. Not only did the students get to express their creativity through their heads, hearts and hands, but they also engaged in collaborative teamwork, a foundational part of our school community.
