Next Wednesday, September 27, we will be holding our Parent-Student-Advisor Conferences. There will be no classes in session that day. These conferences are not the same as Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences which will happen in January after teachers have had the chance to get to know your child in each of their classes and will have a much better understanding of student's strengths and areas where improvement or support might be needed.
The purpose of the conferences next week with advisors is to learn from families about how your son or daughter is managing the current school year, what they might need from their advisor for support, strengths and areas of improvement students may have, and to talk about your child's goals for the year. It is important that families sign up on Conference Manager for a conference with your child's advisor only. Please do not sign up with their math teacher, or science teacher (unless that person happens to be your child's advisor of course).
Families will only have ONE, 20-minute conference that day - with your child's advisor.
