14 Meadowridge Teams Qualify for World Scholar’s Cup Global Round
Fourteen teams consisting of 41 students across Grades 3 to 10, led by Grade 11 students Wilson H. and Andy G., represented Meadowridge at the annual Vancouver Regional Round of the World Scholar’s Cup.
Two Meadowridge teams placed in the Top 5 in the Junior Division:
Fifth Place: Aryamaan B., Alvin C., and Aditya B. from Grade 8
Third Place: Wesley H. and Kate Y. from Grade 8
In a competition with over 550 competitors, Meadowridge students earned several achievements:
- 88 Gold Medals
- 59 Silver Medals
- 4 Trophies
- 21 Top 5 finishes
- 16 Top 10 finishes (excluding Top 5)
- 6 Top 20 finishes (excluding Top 10)
- 13 Top 30 finishes (excluding Top 20)
Most notably, all 14 Meadowridge teams qualified for the Global Round, marking an exceptional showing at this year’s regional event.
