This year the Meadowridge Library is starting a Winter Break Reading Challenge. We have designed two challenges: A Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3 challenge and a Grade 4 to Grade 12 challenge. We know that Winter Break can be a very busy time for families, so we have designed both to be challenge by choice: students can choose how many challenges they will complete over Winter Break, and do not need to complete all challenges. Both have challenges that are individual, include family members or friends, and some need adult supervision. Elementary Students will be given their challenge forms during their library classes this week and Middle School Students will have their challenge forms emailed to them.
For every five challenges completed, students will earn 1 house point. Every student who returns their challenge to the library in January will also be entered into a prize draw.
The Meadowridge Library wishes you a very happy and healthy holiday filled with lots of laughter, love and new memories. See you in the New Year!
