A Peek into Parent Socials & Why You Should Attend

Around the beginning of the new school year, parents head over to our Head of School’s home for Parent Socials, a Meadowridge tradition many parents love attending. While it may just seem like a cocktail event to some, Parent Socials are a wonderful opportunity to build connections, as well as create a supportive network that will not only support your child's educational experience but also your own journey as a Meadowridge parent.

By attending a Parent Social, you’ll:

Get to Know the Teachers and Staff: In a relaxed, casual environment, you’ll be able to get to know our passionate educators and staff on a more personal level. This helps to build strong and trusting relationships that positively supports your child's needs and progress throughout the year.

Meet other parents: The great thing about Parent Socials is that they are separated by grade level. This means you’ll meet other parents with children around the same age and grade as yours. You’ll meet with the parents of your children’s friends and be able to share similar stories and experiences while strengthening connections or making new friends.

Create a Supportive Network: Just like our children need a supportive and nurturing environment to thrive at the school, our families also benefit from the caring Meadowridge network. Through casual conversations and shared experiences, you’ll find like-minded individuals who can become a support system for your entire family.

As a Meadowridge parent, you’re part of a supportive community. It’s the meaningful connections and the caring people who make our community special. Events like the Parent Socials are one of the many ways we strengthen our school community to create an unforgettable educational experience for our children and for our families.
