We are excited to introduce a new initiative for our Grade 6 and 7 students as part of their Career Education unit—Career Education Guest Speakers.
This initiative is designed to foster curiosity and help students begin exploring the wide range of career pathways available to them. By hearing directly from professionals within our own Meadowridge community, students are able to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, ask meaningful questions, and gain insight into different fields.
We are incredibly grateful to the family members and community connections who generously volunteered their time to share their journeys and inspire our students. Their willingness to connect real-world experiences to learning makes career exploration meaningful, engaging, and authentic.

Professional actor based in Vancouver and Los Angeles, best known for his series regular role on Grown-ish, with film credits including Margaux and Prom Dates. (Nephew of Mrs. Macatangay)
Career Education Guest Speakers will take place monthly, giving students ongoing opportunities to learn from a diverse range of professionals and continue building curiosity about their futures. We look forward to welcoming many more members of our Meadowridge community to share their stories in the months ahead.
