18 Students  Earn the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

Meadowridge students all have the opportunity to pursue the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. Students who participate in the Award have to focus on individual goals on personal skills, voluntary service, and physical recreation. Students also have to complete an Adventurous Journey, where they are accountable for learning and demonstrating the required skills to be successful on a camping trip. Gold-level participants have to complete a Gold Project, where they develop skills and build relationships with peers in an unfamiliar environment for five days and four nights. Learn more about the award here.

Eighteen Meadowridge students have completed their Awards as of September 2023. All students who complete their Award this school year will be officially recognized at the Awards assembly later in the school year with their certificates and pins. See the full list of students here.
