Extended Essays Complete, Celebrations Ensue
Yesterday afternoon, our Grade 11 and 12 students met to celebrate the end of an important journey in the DP. Each year, our Diploma candidates complete a 4,000-word, critical-thinking essay on a topic of their choice, spending a full year researching, experimenting and writing. This process, while daunting, is a wonderful preparation for post-secondary studies and our students should be commended for their efforts.
To celebrate the Grade 12 students, and officially start the process for the Grade 11 students, we met to share stories of successes, commiserate over the challenges, and eat a lot of cake. Congratulations to our EE students of 2020!
