Meadowridge Education Investment Deposit (MEID) Reimbursement

If you are a family that is not returning next year, you may be wondering how to get back your Meadowridge Education Investment Deposit. To do so, you are requested to complete the attached MEID Reimbursement Request Form and return it to the finance office along with the original duly signed certificate that was issued to you when the investment was made. If the original is being held by the finance office already, you can return the duly completed request form and email it to billing@meadowridge.bc.ca. Families may donate a portion of or the full MEID when they leave. To do this, you can indicate this on the request form.

Reimbursement cheques will be issued on July 15, 2022, provided the finance office has the written request and the original certificate on hand by June 30, 2022. If you have lost or misplaced your original certificate, or if you have any questions, please contact the Finance Office as soon as possible at billing@meadowridge.bc.ca.

Program Fees Refunds for 2021-2022

Every year the school sends Program Fee invoices to families as follows

  • The PYP Program Fee to cover the cost of supplies, agenda, yearbooks and field trips.
  • The MYP Program Fee to cover the cost of supplies, textbook rentals, agenda, yearbooks and field trips.
  • The GP Program Fee to cover the cost of supplies, digital books, agenda, yearbooks, grad fee & hoodie and field trips.

Due to COVID, there may have been many field trips that did not occur during this school year. Similar to last year, the school will be issuing credits to families for the cost of the field trips that were intended but could not be held or replaced. These credit notes will be issued to all families at the end of the school year.

Families can expect credits to be issued to them by July 11th, 2022.

Program Fee Invoices for 2022-2023

For families returning next school year, the School will delay the issuance of the Program Fee invoices for the 2022-2023 school year to August 22, 2022. This timing delay will provide the School with more time to see how COVID unfolds and how it will affect field trips for the start of the year. It will also provide the school the opportunity to apply the credits from the 2021-2022 Program fees issued at the start of July 2022 or any other credit on families account to each families Program Fee invoices for 2022-2023, thereby reducing the amounts families will have left to pay.
