Twenty-eight students from Grades 6 to 12 attended the National STAR Theatre Festival at the University of British Columbia, where they joined nearly 300 students from 31 schools across Western Canada for four days of theatre, creativity, and collaboration.
Students competed in a wide range of events, including Solo Musical, Duo Musical, Group Musical, Contrasting Monologues, Dramatic Scenes, Technical Design, and One-Act Plays, while also participating in workshops led by professional theatre artists covering topics such as audition techniques, improvisation, voice-over work, filmmaking, and stagecraft careers.
