Meadowridge students make their mark at the MiniEnterprize business competition

Last Saturday, students from Meadowridge’s Business Club – a student-led club at the helm of Grade 11 student Carina L.! – participated in MiniEnterprize, a lower mainland business competition. Together, the group analyzed and worked through a business case study and made suggestions for improvement.

“The fast-paced and challenging nature of business case conferences forms an excellent environment to enhance critical thinking and public speaking skills,” explains Corina of the involvement, “and of course, the award and certificates are awarding and worthwhile in the end.”

Worthwhile indeed, as one of our groups placed third overall out of 36 teams! Congratulations to Aryanna S., Akira Y., Rayan R., Isabel K. and Natalie X. And a special congratulations to Akira for winning best speaker!
