New iPads in the Elementary School Support Engagement & Learning

The new year began with much excitement in educational technology – 60 new iPads, cases, and charging stations were delivered, assembled and organized across our Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes!

Thanks to our families’ generous support of the Annual Fund,  Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes each have one device to support documentation and sharing of students’ work.

Parents, have you seen their smiles and heard their learning on Seesaw? Each of our Grade 1 to 3 classes, meanwhile, now have eight iPads. Our students and teachers have used the iPads to create books and stories, access information, and learn what it means to be a balanced, thoughtful, kind and aware digital citizen.

Learning how to learn with digital tools is a complex and challenge task, and our teachers take a thoughtful and learner-centric approach to designing meaningful experiences with our newest digital tools.
