Grade 4 students would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported their March lemonade sale and donation drive for Covenant House.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, 150 glasses of lemonade were sold, raising an impressive $1,257. These funds will be used to purchase much-needed supplies that support youth at Covenant House.

Building on this success, the Grade 4 classes are excited to launch Part 2 of their action project: a CAN Drive to help stock Covey’s Cupboard, which provides non-perishable food to residents staying at Covenant House, youth transitioning to independent living, and homeless youth who come to Covenant House in need of food support.
Families and staff are invited to support this initiative by donating canned goods such as tuna, salmon, ham, chicken, chili, soup, beans, vegetables, fruits, or sauces etc. This CAN Drive is open to students and staff in Grades 1 to 5. Canned goods can be dropped off with Elementary homeroom teachers.
As a token of appreciation, students (Grades 1 to 5) who bring four or more canned goods by Friday, April 17, will receive a spa water, a small bag of popcorn, and a licorice stick on Thursday, April 23 at 1:30pm in Elementary.
Please help support this meaningful initiative by bringing in canned goods
Together, we CAN make a difference in the lives of others.
