For the 2023-2024 school year we will be enhancing our risk management regarding volunteer parent and staff drivers. If you are interested in being a volunteer parent driver next year, drivers must carry $3 million in liability insurance
Any parents wishing to volunteer as a parent driver for the 2023-2024 School year will be required to submit their Driver Factor Report (new) along with their Personal Driving Record (Abstract) which can both be requested from ICBC here. Submissions need to be sent to Ms. Dionne Young at dionne.young@meadowridge.bc.ca
We will also be increasing the minimum liability insurance coverage for volunteer parent and staff drivers from $2 million to $3 million. Proof of coverage should be provided to Dionne Young at the front office.
Consistent with prior years, any volunteers including drivers must complete a criminal record check. Contact our Human Resources office to do this at employment@meadowridge.bc.ca
