Success at the Provincial Concours d'art oratoir

Meadowridge students earn provincial standings

Over 10,000 students across British Columbia and the Yukon compete in the Concours d'art oratoir, a French public speaking event hosted by Canadian Parents for French. Three-hundred of those 10,000 students make it to the provincials, and only 75 of them come away with medals. This year, Meadowridge students brought home two of them.

Nancy Z. (Grade 10) earned Third Place among all Grade 10 students across British Columbia and the Yukon for her speech about 'La Suisse' (Switzerland).

Catherine R. (Grade 11) earned First Place among all Grade 11 and Grade 12 students across British Columbia and the Yukon for her speech about 'Une opinion impopulaire' (An unpopular opinion).
