Annual Lunch Program

NEW: Year-long Meal Selection
In response to parent feedback, we are pleased to introduce a new option for families: Parents/guardians can now choose to select one menu option for their child for the entire school year, removing the need to make weekly selections. Please note: This option is only available for students with no known food allergies.

If you do not select the yearlong menu option, you may continue to choose your child’s lunches on a weekly basis via our online portal.

To use the portal for ordering you will need to create an account using your child’s student ID with the prefix “PYP” before their student ID number. Weekly selections must be submitted by the 3:00pm. of the Thursday the week prior to secure your preferred meals. If selections are not submitted on time, your child will receive a cheese sandwich with sides, as this allows SAGE to account for potential allergens.

Although the website will display a subtotal for the selected meals, no additional payment is required once you have enrolled in the Annual Lunch Program. The discounted fee covers lunches through the end of the academic year.

NEW: Pre-Selected Meals First Two Weeks
To help ease the transition at the beginning of the school year, lunches for the first two weeks of school will be pre-selected for all students. This avoids the need for families to place orders during a particularly busy time.

How does the Annual Lunch Program work?

Parents can visit the SAGE Dining Services menu link at least a week in advance to select their child's menu for the next week, if they have not selected one meal type for the entire year. Each school day these delicious meals will be delivered to the child's classroom for their lunch. If your child is attending a field trip, a bagged lunch will be provided.

Dietary and allergy restrictions will be accommodated. Please contact sage@meadowridge.bc.ca with questions. If you do not have the opportunity to pre-select the meal then your child will receive the sandwich of the day and sides as SAGE has to be mindful of any possible allergen.

When selecting your weekly lunch, a subtotal for the cost of the lunches will appear. Since you will have already joined this program at a lesser cost you will not need to provide any further payment.
