Please read before submitting your bus pas application.

In preparation for our return in September, many families may require bussing for their child(ren). Families must register for bussing for the full school year, as there will be no single-ride tickets available this year so that we may keep everyone safe and adhere to Public Health Requirements.

  • To keep all riders safe, these further measures will also be in place:
  • All students and drivers must be free of illness (includes mild cough or low-grade fevers) before boarding the bus. Any person who experiences any symptoms must stay home.
  • Buses will be cleaned and disinfected before each use in accordance with the BC Centre for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
  • Bus drivers will clean their hands often, before and after completing trips.
  • Students must sanitize their hands before enter the bus.
  • Students will load onto the bus from back to front and should sit beside the window to reduce proximity to others. Students from the same household or learning group may share a seat.
  • Passenger lists will be maintained daily should contract tracing need to occur.
  • All students (grades 1 to 12) must wear non-medical masks or face coverings before loading the bus. The mask can be taken off after offloading.
  • Late buses will be for full-time riders only.
  • Registration may be limited due to possible capacity restrictions so spaces will be on a first come first serve basis.

According to the Public Health officer, non-medical masks are recommended in situations where physical distancing cannot be maintained for long periods of time and when people are close to each other. This would apply to riding the bus to school.

Families requiring bussing need to register here by August 14, 2020 to reserve a spot for your child(ren).
