Arts Fund

Students learn through creative expression: they learn to understand and to analyze, to problem solve and to self-express, and they learn about themselves and about the world around them.

Students work through the entire symbolic range, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.  Your support of the arts lets students explore as speaker, artist, dancer, photographer, actor and director, and develops lifelong enthusiasts of the arts.

Thank you Mrs. Durno!

Your generosity inspires, Meadowridge! Mrs. Barbra Durno has taught at Meadowridge since 1999 – for over 20 years! – and has been a favourite teacher and generous supporter ever since.

After seeing all of the amazing gifts and well wishes made over the last 31 hours on Giving Day, Mrs. Durno decided to make an additional (and incredible) gift. She will be donating 14 handmade marimbas at the end of the year, each of them handmade by Mrs. Durno herself and valued at well over $13,000.
