On Monday, October 7, Meadowridge School proudly celebrated the grand opening of the new Arts Centre. Parents, staff, and High School students gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, excited to explore the new space that will be a hub for creativity and artistic expression.
Mike Beaton, a current parent, donor, and head of Advantage Group and Centurion Contracting, the team responsible for bringing the vision to life. Mike’s involvement and dedication to the project made the day especially meaningful as he cut the ribbon, officially opening the doors to the new space.
During the unveiling, we also honoured the Class of 2022 and 2024, whose generous legacy gift included foosball tables, ping pong tables, and a chessboard table. These thoughtful additions will provide students with spaces to unwind and enjoy moments of social interaction, complementing the Centre’s primary focus on fostering artistic growth.
Parents had the unique opportunity to explore the Centre firsthand and see how it will enrich their children's arts experience. The new facility features ample room for visual arts, drama, and other artistic endeavours, giving students the resources and environment to pursue their passions and develop their talents.
This unveiling marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Meadowridge arts community. We extend our deepest thanks to Mike Beaton, the Class of 2022 and 2024, and everyone involved in making the Arts Centre a reality.
